This coaching process isn’t for everyone. At times it will feel like hard work and it will make you uncomfortable because it will challenge your thinking and some of the obstacles that you may have gotten too comfortable living with. Sometimes, when we face obstacles in our path we can feel insecure or uncertain about how to start. So those obstacles stand fast, blocking a clear line of sight to our goals which then ultimately limits our steps toward them. The coaching process will help you find the direction and perspective that you need to address and overcome obstacles in a creative and effective new way.

For Humanitarians, the line between what is work and what is personal can feel very blurry, and trying to create a balance between them to achieve a fulfilling lifestyle can feel even blurrier. Living in community or compounds, extensive travel and disrupted routines, calculating time zones and irregular hours, long-distance relationships, intercultural relationships, family relocations and long separations. Humanitarians are notoriously adaptable and durable, but steering around these unique issues and impacts can require very targeted strategies to ensure that you can maintain your passions, ideals and priorities.
